So many bangers! Yeah, medium format has something special about it. People also become more friendly for street photography because they see an old camera. I think it has less camera shake due to the larger format, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
Thank for the tip, Raf! I went 1/200 "just in case", haha. Yup, people thought that I was a weirdo using and big and old as fuck camera when their iPhone "takes better pictures" 😜. I want to shoot something with 800T with this camera, I think it could be a fun experiment.
Looks great man! I've got a finished roll of Kentmere 400 that I ran through my Zeiss camera that needs to be developed myself! This is my nudge to get going on doing that.
Thanks, Brian, please do and share those beauties! What Zeiss camera do you have? Those Zeiss Ikon? I've seen a couple of models, they look nice and the lenses are better.
I've got the Zeiss Ikon Nettar. It's got a 105mm (roughly 52mm equivalent?) f6.3 lens. The small selection of shutter speeds was a concern, but let's see! Were you concerned at any point that you were exposing incorrectly?
I’ve used an app as light meter so I wasn’t worried about it. I think my main concern was the zone focusing, haha. It was in feet and I’m used to meters. However, I’ve tried to be very careful and I think all my pics went fine in terms of exposure and focus 👌
Hi Liam! For 120, I need to send them to lab as I don't have a dedicated scanner for MF. I have a Plustek but is only for 135. However, I've asked the lab max resolution and TIFF format (maybe it was too much for a test roll, but I wanted to check the possibilities of this big ass negative 😜).
Wow man what great photos! Can't beat that quality for the price. I want to see more from this thing.
Thanks, amigo! I'm still impressed on how good these look 😊 I'll be try to shoot 1 roll per month with it, it's so much fun!

How are you scanning them?

haha cool I have a plustek as well and it’s one of the reasons I haven’t tried medium format yet.
That shot of the Parque México would be in my portfolio if it were my shot.
You are so kind, my friend! 🙏🏻
